I am John Bergman. I’ve been in the advertising industry since 1995 and seriously pursuing a career in photography since 2007. I have been mostly covering events at nightclubs and festivals around Chicago and a few at various parts of the globe. I really enjoy the nightlife and music scene. I’ve shot a couple of weddings for friends. I’ve done quite a bit of travel photography as well.

In addition, I’m a very experienced graphic artist. I’m very familiar with using Photoshop to do retouching and illustration. I’ve done a lot of packaging design in the past ten years for Kellogg’s Cereal. While working with them I have used Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark and InDesign to do a large volume of in-store displays, point of sale, brochures, posters, packaging, logo designs, etc…. I’ve also used Maya to produce realistic toy premium concepts and illustrations to be used on the packaging and signage. They have put my photography skills to good use as well for product shots and work parties.
